Accountant - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and capable Accountant to join their finance team, working exclusively remotely , with proximity to Centurion . This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and supporting strategic financial planning. You will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, from transactional processing to financial analysis, all managed within a fully remote setup. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
• Assist with tax calculations and submissions (VAT, Income Tax).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and local tax legislation.
• Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines independently, a key trait for remote success.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
