Accounts Assistant_100% Remote_MidShift_Up to 75K NET per month

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant for a client located in Malta. This is 100% remote work, Monday to Friday, with a mid-shift schedule starting at 4 pm (PH time). Full-time position that pays a Net Salary of 75k per month with 13th-month pay.

Requirements

• A degree in accounting (or equivalent qualification); candidates with such credentials will be given preference
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role
• A versatile and flexible attitude, with excellent communication skills across all levels
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Solid IT proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and competence in MS Office applications
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Accounts Assistant, and working closely with other team members, the selected candidate will play a key role in the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the board. This role operates on the Maltese time zone (Central European Time, UTC +1 / Central European Summer Time, UTC +2).

Key Responsibilities

• Issue invoices for entities within the organisation and oversee the billing process
• Prepare and update accounting spreadsheets required for monthly and annual reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and promptly
• Support the Finance Director in the preparation of monthly management accounts and assist in the annual audit process
• Input and reconcile bank transactions
• Oversee the credit control function of the company
• Assist with VAT reconciliations and VAT return preparation
• Carry out any other accounting or administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department
