Agile Project Manager - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead software development initiatives in a fully remote setting. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption and effective execution of Agile methodologies across product teams. You will champion Agile principles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among distributed team members. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for empowering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor development teams on Agile best practices and principles.
• Identify and remove impediments blocking team progress, ensuring smooth project flow.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine the product backlog and ensure clarity of requirements.
• Track project progress using Agile metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within remote teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Proven experience implementing and managing projects using Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience working effectively with fully remote teams.
