About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations remotely. This position is crucial for ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of aircraft fleets, all managed from a remote location. You will lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols, and managing schedules and resources efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of aircraft maintenance personnel remotely.
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance is performed in accordance with approved data, technical manuals, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor maintenance schedules, track progress, and manage resources to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance teams, troubleshooting complex issues as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed, including component replacements and inspections, utilizing digital systems.
Requirements
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, and maintenance best practices.
- Proficiency with aircraft maintenance software and digital record-keeping systems.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, adaptable to remote team management.
