About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Aircraft Systems Specialist to join their engineering department on a fully remote basis. In this critical role, you will focus on the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, and electrical networks. You will work closely with flight crews and maintenance teams worldwide, providing expert technical support and developing innovative solutions to system performance challenges. This position requires a deep understanding of aircraft engineering principles and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and geographically dispersed environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of intricate aircraft systems, including avionics, navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement in system efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and document technical solutions, service bulletins, and repair procedures for aircraft systems.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to flight crews and maintenance personnel globally.
• Collaborate with design engineers on the integration and testing of new aircraft system technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aircraft systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in aircraft systems , with a focus on avionics, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of aircraft systems architecture and operational principles.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and interpreting complex system schematics.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
