Animator - Remote Entertainment Production

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Animator to join their remote-based entertainment production team. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute your animation skills to exciting projects from the comfort of your own workspace, as it is a fully remote position. You will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D or 3D animations, bringing characters, objects, and scenes to life in accordance with project briefs and artistic direction. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled animator who possesses a strong understanding of animation principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to work autonomously within a virtual team environment.

You will collaborate with directors, art directors, and other animators to deliver captivating visual content that enhances the storytelling of various entertainment productions, ensuring seamless integration into the final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D or 3D animations for characters, environments, and visual effects according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with art directors and directors to interpret and execute creative visions.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and character rigs as needed for animation projects.
• Ensure animation is technically sound and artistically compelling, meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
• Work efficiently with animation software and tools, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
• Participate in team reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance overall project quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing your animation work (2D or 3D, depending on project needs).
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, Adobe Animate , or similar.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, anticipation, and weight.
• Experience with character rigging, texturing, and rendering pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fully remote setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, engaging animation.
