Assistant Manager - Fully Remote

Our client is a fast-growing boutique accounting firm specialising in helping property investors build, grow and protect their wealth. With a highly specialised client base and a modern approach to accounting, the firm provides a blend of compliance, tax advisory, entity structuring and strategic planning.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious accountant who wants more than just a traditional compliance-focused role.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Directors, you'll have exposure to a broad range of work and play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Your role will include:

• Managing a portfolio of property investor clients
• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns
• Providing strategic tax advice and planning
• Advising clients on entity structures, trusts and ownership structures
• Assisting clients in structuring and growing their property portfolios
• Managing ASIC and compliance obligations
• Building strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and advisory conversations
• Reviewing work and providing guidance to junior and offshore team members
• Working closely with the Directors on increasingly complex and advisory-focused work

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• 3-5+ years Public practice experience
• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
• Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance
• Enjoys building relationships and working directly with clients
• An interest in advisory and developing beyond traditional compliance work
• Ambitious and motivated by career progression
• Can work independently and thrive in a remote environment
• Previous experience with property investors, trusts or complex entity structures and SMSF would be advantageous but is not essential
