About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise 3D CAD models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings for automotive parts and assemblies using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine designs based on functional requirements, manufacturability, and aesthetic considerations.
• Perform tolerance analysis and design for assembly (DFA) checks on models.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant automotive standards and company specifications.
• Maintain and manage CAD data, including version control and library organization.
• Prepare design documentation for prototyping, testing, and production phases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer, preferably with a focus on the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in using advanced 3D CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with surfacing techniques and creating complex forms.
• Excellent attention to detail and spatial reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate professionally in a remote team.
