BIM Coordinator - Remote

About the Role

Our client, a leader in sustainable architectural design, is seeking a highly proficient BIM Coordinator to work remotely. This role is integral to managing and implementing Building Information Modeling processes across various projects, ensuring data integrity and efficient collaboration between multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for setting BIM standards, developing model templates, and providing crucial support to project teams from their home office, anywhere in the world. This remote position is ideal for an organized and technically adept professional looking to influence project workflows on a global scale, supporting projects originating from Welkom, Free State and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM standards , protocols, and workflows for all projects.
• Create and manage BIM project templates and libraries of families and components.
• Coordinate and aggregate models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Conduct regular model quality checks and clash detection analyses.
• Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of other BIM-related software.
• Solid knowledge of BIM execution plans and international BIM standards.
• Excellent understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP design processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
