In dieser Funktion tragen Sie zur Konzeption, Implementierung, Modernisierung und zum zuverlässigen Betrieb geschäftskritischer Softwarelösungen mit Schwerpunkt auf dem Microsoft-Technologiestack bei. Wichtig ist zudem eine sehr eigenständige und teamfähige Arbeitsweise.

• Standort: Größtenteils remote möglich – Präsenz vor Ort ist jedoch gerne gesehen; die (remote) Teilnahme an relevanten Teammeetings wird vorausgesetzt.

• Engineer, enhance and maintain business-critical applications and services using C# and modern .NET, preferably .NET 8 and higher
• Design and implement reliable backend components, RESTful APIs, integrations and data-access solutions based on Microsoft SQL Server
• Analyze business and technical requirements, assess existing solutions and translate complex needs into clear, implementable technical concepts
• Contribute to application modernization, including the refactoring of legacy components and the evolution toward modular, cloud-ready architectures
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML, reusable templates, automated quality gates and controlled deployments across environments
• Apply strong software-quality practices throughout the development lifecycle, including clean code, code reviews, automated testing, static analysis, secure coding and maintainable technical documentation
• Collaborate with test and operations colleagues to improve testability, observability, deployment reliability and production readiness
• Support cloud and containerization initiatives, including packaging and operating applications in container-based environments
• Use agentic AI and AI-assisted development approaches responsibly to improve engineering productivity, while maintaining human oversight, security, traceability and quality
• Contribute to frontend development with Vue.js and Nuxt where required
• Act as a senior technical contributor who mentors colleagues, identifies risks early and drives topics to completion within an agile team
• Several years of professional software-development experience at senior level, with a strong track record of delivering and supporting production-grade solutions
• Advanced hands-on expertise in C#, Visual Studio and modern .NET; practical experience with .NET 8
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including data modelling, performance-aware queries, stored procedures and the handling of large or complex datasets
• Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, service integrations and robust backend architectures
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps, especially Git-based development workflows, pull requests, build and release automation, and YAML pipelines
• Demonstrated commitment to software quality, including unit, integration and automated testing, cleadn-code principles, design patterns, code reviews and quality/security controls in CI/CD
• Good understanding of software architecture, maintainability, scalability, security and operational requirements
• Practical experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native principles; Microsoft Azure knowledge
• Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker; experience with container orchestration is beneficial
• Experience using agentic AI or AI-assisted software‑engineering tools in a governed and quality‑conscious manner
• Knowledge of Vue.js and Nuxt
• Knowledge of YARP or other API Gateways
• Experience working in agile product or delivery teams and collaborating across development, testing, architecture and operations
• Proactive, independent and solution-oriented working style, combined with strong communication skills and a high level of accountability
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly in English and to work effectively in an international environment
