About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for assigned FMCG categories to achieve cost savings and quality objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to secure optimal deals.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product development, marketing, sales) to ensure alignment on category needs and strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and ethical practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Category Buying or Procurement, with significant exposure to the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated success in negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to inform purchasing decisions.
