Catering Event Planner (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an exceptionally organized and client-focused Catering Event Planner to manage event logistics and client relations in a fully remote capacity, serving the Vereeniging area and beyond. This role is critical for ensuring that every event runs smoothly from inception to completion, providing clients with a seamless and stress-free catering experience. You will be the primary point of contact, translating client visions into reality through meticulous planning and coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all logistical aspects of catering events remotely, including timelines, menus, and staffing.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through the planning process.
• Coordinate with internal teams (culinary, operations) and external vendors to ensure all requirements are met.
• Develop detailed event timelines and run sheets for seamless on-site execution.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability for each event.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and ensure client satisfaction.

• Proven experience in event planning , preferably with a focus on catering.
