This vital role focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive child safety policies and procedures across all programs and services. You will be instrumental in ensuring a secure and protective environment for every child, conducting risk assessments, providing training to staff, and responding to any child protection concerns.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of child welfare legislation and best practices, coupled with exceptional investigative and communication skills to uphold the highest standards of child safety from a distance.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and manage robust child safety policies and procedures for all operational areas. • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards to children. • Provide training and guidance to staff on child protection, safeguarding, and reporting procedures. • Investigate and respond promptly and appropriately to any child protection concerns or allegations. • Liaise with external agencies, such as child protective services and law enforcement, as required. • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, investigations, and training activities.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in child protection, safeguarding, or a related field. • In-depth knowledge of child welfare laws, regulations, and best practices in child safety. • Proven experience in conducting investigations and managing sensitive cases. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills. • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote work environment.
