About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, focusing on project management and design oversight for infrastructure developments. You will manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines, while also contributing to design reviews and technical problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress remotely.
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct remote technical reviews of designs, calculations, and project documentation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges that arise.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Requirements
- BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills suitable for a remote team.
- Proficiency in relevant civil engineering software and project management platforms.
