Civil Project Manager - Remote Role

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of diverse civil engineering projects. This role offers a hybrid work model, blending remote flexibility with essential in-person collaboration and site visits. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and client liaison to execution, budget management, and final delivery. This is a key leadership position within the organization, requiring strong organizational skills, technical acumen, and the ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure project success.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including leading project meetings (both virtual and in-person).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, adaptable to hybrid work.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) certification is highly preferred.
