Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Community Engagement Officer for a fully remote position, focusing on initiatives within the Polokwane region. This role is pivotal in building and strengthening relationships between our client and the diverse communities they serve.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies, organizing virtual events, and fostering positive communication channels to ensure community needs are understood and addressed.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute strategic community outreach and engagement plans. • Organize and facilitate virtual community meetings, workshops, and information sessions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and residents. • Gather community feedback and insights to inform program development and service delivery. • Create engaging content for digital platforms to communicate project updates and initiatives. • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of community engagement activities.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or a related field. • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in community outreach, engagement, or a similar role. • Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in using digital collaboration tools, social media, and online communication platforms. • Strong understanding of community dynamics and development principles, particularly within the Limpopo context. • Ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
