Construction Project Manager - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and adaptable Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee a diverse range of projects from inception to completion, entirely remotely. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively without being physically present on-site daily. You will be instrumental in coordinating with remote teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring that all project objectives are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using project management software.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with remote construction teams, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular virtual project reviews and stakeholder meetings, providing clear and concise updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and performance expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with a significant portion managed remotely or in a hybrid capacity.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Asana).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively across distances.
