Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant with regulations, and reflect the company's best interests.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting through execution, amendment, and termination.
• Advise internal business teams on contract-related matters and provide training on contract best practices.
• Maintain organized and accurate contract records and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address contract issues and risks.

Requirements

• Admitted attorney or candidate attorney with a strong focus on contract law.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of contract principles and South African contract law.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of contracts efficiently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
