About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Counselling Psychologist to establish and manage a thriving remote practice . This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in mental health and well-being within a flexible, virtual setting. You will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to a diverse client base, all while working from your home office. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations remotely.
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy via secure video conferencing platforms.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely client records in compliance with professional standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic techniques in psychology.
- Manage practice administration, including scheduling, billing, and client communication, within a remote framework.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology with a specialization in Counseling.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in South Africa (HPCSA registration).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral clinical experience.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities.
- Strong ethical judgment and commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
