About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their fully remote fleet operations team, based out of Midrand . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing delivery logistics from a remote command center. You will ensure efficient routing, timely deliveries, and maintain clear communication with a network of drivers. This position is ideal for an organized and proactive individual who excels in a remote work environment and can manage complex scheduling and tracking tasks with precision, contributing significantly to the operational success of the logistics division without needing to be physically present at a dispatch hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage a fleet of delivery vehicles using GPS tracking and dispatch software.
• Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency, punctuality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing instructions, support, and real-time updates.
• Address and resolve any delivery-related issues or customer concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle status, and operational performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies remotely.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar logistics coordination role.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, especially in a remote setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
• A reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup conducive to remote work.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
