This role is essential for ensuring the successful and safe execution of drilling operations by managing the performance and properties of drilling fluids. You will leverage your expertise to design, implement, and oversee fluid programs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize fluid systems for various drilling challenges within the Oil & Gas sector.
This position offers the flexibility of a remote role while maintaining a strong connection to critical operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage drilling fluid programs tailored to specific well objectives and geological conditions.
• Monitor fluid properties, analyze performance data, and recommend adjustments to maintain wellbore stability and drilling efficiency.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for drilling fluid-related issues encountered during operations.
• Oversee the procurement, inventory, and logistics of drilling fluid additives and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards related to drilling fluid management.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical) or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in drilling fluids engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, and additives.
• Experience with drilling fluid simulation and reporting software.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
