In this role, you'll: Work as part of a team delivering innovative drone operations that support incident response, major events, maritime activities, infrastructure inspections and critical transport operations across NSW. This role is a temporary opportunity up to 2 years, joining the Drone Operations Team in Leichhardt, Sydney.

You bring at least two years' commercial drone experience, a strong understanding of aviation regulations and RPAS legislation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

About You Your commercial RPAS experience, aviation safety mindset and strong communication skills will see you thrive in this dynamic operational environment. You're a safety-focused aviation professional, skilled at delivering drone operations in complex environments and committed to operational excellence.

Holding a Sub-25kg Remote Pilot License (RePL), Aeronautical Radio Operator’s Certificate (AROC) and a current Australian driver's licence, you'll be willing to travel regularly and work outside standard business hours.

Experience with BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) and EVLOS (Extended Line of Sight) operations will be highly regarded, while IREX (Instrument Rating Examination) certification or CASA BVLOS OCTA is desirable.
