Electronic Market Making & Algo Trading Lead, Remote, Global, Up to $250k USD base, DeFi

I'm working with a well-backed DeFi business that's building out a new electronic market making and algorithmic trading capability. It's a genuine greenfield build, so you'll have real influence over how the function is shaped and how it grows.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy and run automated market making and algo strategies across multiple venues
• Build and manage cross-venue arbitrage with strong risk controls
• Own real-time order book management and liquidity provision
• Partner closely with engineering on trading infrastructure

What we're looking for

• Strong understanding of order book dynamics and electronic market making
• Hands-on experience building or running algo trading systems
• Commodities trading experience
• Exposure to both digital asset and traditional markets
• Solid quantitative grounding (a PhD isn't required)
• Technically fluent and comfortable working side by side with engineers
