This is an exciting period of positive change and sustained growth, with a strong pipeline of high quality work.This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, experienced team with exceptional leadership and genuine commitment to professional development.The TeamThe Employment Law team handles the full spectrum of employment matters, including:Advising employees on unfair dismissal, unpaid wages and discrimination claimsDefending employers in whistleblowing, discrimination and complex tribunal mattersManaging both contentious and non contentious employment workProviding HR advisory services, including drafting contracts, policies and handbooksSupporting businesses through employment law compliance and best practice guidanceThe RoleAs an Employment Associate, you will manage a varied caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion.

Work will include:Advising on settlement agreementsDrafting and negotiating settlement termsDrafting employment contracts, handbooks and workplace policiesHandling contentious and non contentious employment mattersProviding clear, practical advice to both employees and employersEnsuring efficient, high quality case handling in line with regulatory and internal processesAbout YouThe firm is keen to hear from candidates with strong experience in Employment Litigation who can demonstrate:Previous experience in both contentious and non contentious employment work (essential)Strong working knowledge of employment law and tribunal proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA proactive, organised approach to managing your caseloadAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, KPIs and SLAsStrong client care skills and a collaborative working styleUnderstanding of the SRA Code of ConductInterest in business development (desirable)Working Pattern & FlexibilityThe firm offers genuine flexibility and supports a healthy work life balance:Full time or part time hoursHybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in Bristol or Bedwas if commutable)Fully remote considered for candidates outside a reasonable commuting distanceFlexible working arrangementsWhat's on OfferYou can expect a supportive environment that encourages independent thinking, ownership of work and professional growth.
