Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Troubleshooting • Provide remote and on-site technical support for energy storage systems (residential & C&I) • Diagnose and resolve system issues including battery, inverter, and communication faults • Support firmware upgrades, commissioning, and system optimisation Commissioning & Field Service • Assist installers and partners with system commissioning and setup • Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshooting when required • Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently • Work closely with installers, distributors, and retailers to provide timely technical support • Build strong relationships with partner technical teams • Deliver a high level of customer experience and issue resolution Issue Management & HQ Coordination • Report product issues clearly and follow up with HQ engineering teams • Track and manage technical cases to ensure closure • Support root cause analysis and continuous product improvement Training & Technical Enablement • Provide technical training and guidance to installers and partners • Support technical workshops, webinars, and product demonstrations Pre-sales & Technical Support (when required) • Assist sales team with technical queries, system design, and solution support • Support product launches and technical marketing activities What We’re Looking For Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Systems, or related field • 1–3+ years experience in solar, battery, or renewable energy industry • Experience with system troubleshooting and commissioning preferred Technical Skills • Good understanding of: • Battery energy storage systems (BESS) • Inverters and communication protocols • Ability to analyse and solve technical problems independently • Familiar with tools such as monitoring platforms, basic networking, and electrical testing Skills & Attributes • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset • Ability to manage multiple issues and prioritise effectively • Willingness to travel frequently across Australia • Full working rights in Australia • Valid driver’s licence Why Join Pylontech • Work with a fast-growing global energy storage leader • Be at the forefront of Australia’s energy transition • Strong exposure to real-world systems, installers, and large-scale deployments • Opportunity to grow into senior technical or solution roles • Competitive salary + performance incentives Pylontech (SHSE: 688063) is a global leading energy storage company specialising in lithium battery solutions for residential, commercial and utility applications.
