Key Responsibilities • Analyze energy market data, including pricing, supply, demand, and weather patterns, to identify trading opportunities. • Develop, test, and implement quantitative models for energy trading strategies and risk management. • Monitor real-time market activity and execute trades in accordance with established strategies and risk parameters. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market analysis, trading performance, and risk exposure for senior management. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and IT, to refine trading systems and processes. • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market developments impacting the energy trading landscape.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy trading, financial analysis, or a similar quantitative role. • Strong analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel, Python, or R. • Deep understanding of energy markets, trading instruments, and risk management principles. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
