Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and feasibility studies for infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement strategies for pollution prevention, control, and remediation.
• Design and oversee the construction of environmental infrastructure, such as wastewater treatment systems and erosion control measures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, regulations, and permits.
• Advise project teams on best practices for sustainable design and construction.
• Monitor environmental performance and conduct site inspections (where necessary and feasible remotely).
• Prepare environmental reports, management plans, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams in a virtual setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental consulting or civil engineering with an environmental focus.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and EIA methodologies.
• Proficiency in environmental modeling software and GIS applications.
• Strong understanding of water quality, soil contamination, and waste management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality environmental solutions independently.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is highly desirable.
