Environmental Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer for a fully remote position, contributing to a diverse portfolio of environmental consulting projects. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Baseline Studies for development projects.
• Design and manage remediation projects for contaminated soil and groundwater.
• Develop and implement waste management strategies and pollution prevention plans.
• Ensure compliance with national and international environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Provide technical expertise on environmental matters, including air quality, water quality, and ecological impact.
• Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to achieve environmental objectives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or engineering.
• Proven experience with environmental modeling software and GIS applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of environmental legislation and permitting procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong capabilities in remote collaboration and client interaction.
