Yourroleispartneringwithownerledbusinesseslookingtogetsaleready,staysalereadyandultimatelypositionthemselvesforinvestmentorexit.

You’llbeworkingwithaportfolioofbusinesses,aspirationalgrowingSMEsledbytalentedleadershipteams. You’llbeprovidingthesoundingboardtheyneedaroundthefactorswhichultimatelyimpacttheirmultipleatpointofsale.

You’llbesupportingwithduediligence,reviewingtherobustnessoftheircontrolsandtherelevanceoftheirboardpack. Providingchallengeandsupportaroundtheleversofincomeandprofit,helpingspotopportunitytodrivegrowth,retainmargin.

It’smorethandressingtheshopwindowforthem. It’sreallybecomingthattrustedadvisortobusinessowners/investors/boardplayers. Someonewhocanbepartoftheirgrowthtoexitstoryandaddfinancial/commercialguidanceduringtheplanningandstrategydiscussions.

Required:

• Thisisforsomeonedriven,careerfocusedandproactive.
• You’llhaveasolidtechnicalaccounting(potentiallyhavingstartedyourcareerinpractice).
• You’llprobablyhavealreadytakenanSMEthroughanexitevent–withclearevidenceofgettingthemingreatshapeandsale-ready.
• You’llpotentiallyhaveexperienceofaPEsetting(althoughgettingabusinessthroughtradesaleorperhapsMBO/MBIwouldalsobeveryrelevant).
• Itsforsomeonesharp,intelligentandself-motivated. AcommerciallyawareandmodernFDwhowillenjoybeingpartofgrownupconversationswithavarietyofbusinessowners/leaders.

Youneedtobesomeonewhoisabletobuildrapportwithadiverseaudienceofstakeholders. AproactiveFDwhowillbeabletogetunderthebonnetofseveralbusinessesinyourstableandunderstandwhattheleversofsuccessineachsettingmaybe. It’sacrackingrole–tonsofvariety,M&Aexposure,constantaddedvalueactivity. Loadsofinterestingandexcitingdiscussionsratherthanthegrindofmonthend!
