Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Support budget preparation and perform variance analysis against actual results.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (e.g., CA(SA) , CIMA , ACCA ) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting.
• Expertise in accounting software and advanced Excel modeling skills.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and South African tax regulations.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting .
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
