Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Senior Client Manager in managing and nurturing client relationships, addressing client inquiries, and providing timely and accurate information. • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including financial data, correspondence, and project documentation. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and stay updated on changes in accounting standards and practices. • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction. • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, including gathering necessary documentation and setting up client accounts.

Position Summary: The Assistant Client Manager will support the Senior Client Manager in managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction.

This role involves a blend of client interaction, project management, and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects effectively.

Skills: • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Australian accounting / client-facing role in a public practice or accounting firm. • Proficiency in accounting software Xero. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. • High level of integrity and professionalism.
