About the Role Our client, a dynamic non-profit organization focused on environmental conservation in Cape Town , is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraising Manager to lead its development efforts.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising plans, cultivating donor relationships, and securing the financial resources needed to support our client's crucial conservation projects across South Africa .

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and possesses a proven track record in non-profit fundraising.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy, including major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and online campaigns. • Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners, ensuring effective stewardship. • Write compelling grant proposals and funding applications, clearly articulating the organization's mission and impact. • Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns, both virtual and in-person (where applicable). • Manage the fundraising budget, track progress towards financial goals, and provide regular reports to senior leadership. • Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate donor records and track fundraising activities.
