What we will do together: • Contribute to the design of our gameplay systems • Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software in script and C/C++ • Deploy, optimize and test gameplay software on PC. • Collaborate with other internal departments (art, design, audio, QA, etc.) • Document software and features for internal and external teams • Participate in the code review process What you will bring: • Experience developing games professionally, and shipping AAA titles • Experience using Unreal Engine 4/5 • A keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills • Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools • Strong math skills • Well versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Self‑motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently • Creativity in problem‑solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions • Keen interest in games Interested… a bit about Escape Velocity: Escape Velocity is a team of passionate, talented developers working at a studio that offers excellent benefits, on what we believe is a once‑in‑a‑career project with a committed publisher.

What we are looking for: As a Gameplay Engineer, you will work closely with Design, Animation, and Audio to create new gameplay experiences and take ownership over large gameplay features.
