About The Role

Rex.zone is hiring Germany-based, bilingual (English/German) AI Generalist Trainers to support RLHF and large language model evaluation workflows. You will evaluate, rank, and QA model outputs, write clear rationales, and follow strict annotation guidelines compliance to strengthen training data quality and drive model performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and rank model-generated outputs in English and German using defined rubrics
• Perform QA evaluation checks to validate label accuracy and annotation guidelines compliance
• Write concise rationales explaining reasoning behind rankings and decisions
• Validate factuality, instruction-following, tone, and safety constraints across diverse prompts
• Identify edge cases and policy gaps and provide structured feedback to improve labeling instructions
• Maintain high training data quality by resolving ambiguity, escalating unclear cases, and documenting decisions

Basic Qualifications

• Must be based in Germany
• Fluent in English and German (reading and writing)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to compare outputs and justify rankings
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency across repetitive evaluation tasks
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data labeling, content moderation, QA, or annotation projects
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, RLHF concepts, and prompt evaluation
• Comfort working with guidelines, edge cases, and iterative policy updates
• Strong ownership, time management, and quality-focused work habits

Compensation

Pay is $35-$40 USD per hour depending on skills and evaluation performance. Full-time remote engagement.
