Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for smart grid technologies, including AMI, DMS, and SCADA systems.
- Analyze grid performance data to identify areas for improvement and modernization.
- Design and specify hardware and software solutions for grid automation and control.
- Collaborate with utility partners and technology vendors to integrate new systems.
- Ensure that modernization efforts comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to grid modernization projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power systems.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in power systems engineering, with at least 3 years focused on grid modernization .
- Experience with smart grid technologies , data analytics, and utility operations.
- Familiarity with communication protocols used in the energy sector (e.g., DNP3, Modbus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
