Head of Delivery (Professional Services Remote)

$195,000 + super (negotiable for right candidate)

Provider+ is Australia's most highly rated NDIS compliance and registration consultancy. Over the past eight years we've supported thousands of providers nationwide across registration, audits, renewals and ongoing compliance. Our team of 35+ professionals combines deep regulatory expertise with a genuine commitment to helping providers focus on what they do best: delivering quality care.

About the Role

This is a people leadership role first. It is not IT, software or project delivery.

You’ll lead the team that turns everything we promise our clients into reality: our Service Delivery consultants, Compliance Assistance team and Customer Service team. The team is fully remote and spread across Australia.

You’ll own the delivery of our products end to end, and the client experience that goes with it. When something goes wrong for a client, the buck stops with you.

Stronger regulation and mandatory registration are driving demand for what we do. Working directly with the CEO, you’ll build the team and the delivery model that let us grow: the right people, in the right structure, delivering our services the right way. We want someone who will commit for years and build stability into a core team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading and lifting a remote team across three functions: direction, coaching, workload and escalation.

Setting a high bar and holding it, with clear expectations, continuous feedback, and the hard conversation early.

Owning delivery outcomes: on time, in scope, to standard, at the right margin.

Setting the standard for customer service and client experience, and being the final escalation point for complaints.

Working with the CEO to build a delivery model that scales, by spotting what’s slow, costly or broken and specifying what needs to change.

Knowing capacity 8–12 weeks ahead, flagging constraints before they bite, and owning delivery hiring and ramp-up.

Giving the CEO accurate numbers and early warning: what it costs, what it returns, what it risks.

Developing leaders underneath you, so the team grows into a structure that can scale.

Who This Role Is For

You’re a leader people follow, not just comply with. You’ve led large teams (10+), ideally across more than one function.

You grow leaders. People you’ve developed have gone on to lead teams of their own.

You’ve led people you can’t see. Remote leadership is your normal, not something you tolerate.

You hold the line. Kind, direct and early. You don’t let problems run.

You find problems before anyone asks. You don’t need a playbook. You raise the issue early and bring the fix.

You’re in it for the long haul. You’ve stayed 3+ years in roles and grown them, and you’re looking for a seat to commit to.

You set a high bar for client experience. You know service delivery end to end and will take the escalated call yourself.

You’re commercial. You talk utilisation, cost-to-serve and margin, with real before-and-after results.

You understand SMEs. You’ve worked in and understand the SME environment, where not everything is defined yet.

What’s in It for You

A direct partnership with the CEO and real ownership of the function at the heart of the business.

A long-term seat in a growing business, where the role grows as we do.

$195,000 + super, negotiable for the right candidate.

A salary review at 12 months against the role’s scorecard.

Fully remote working from anywhere in Australia, with a preference for NSW, QLD or VIC and easy access to our Sydney head office.

A capable team with deep in-house regulatory expertise behind you.

What This Role Is NOT

To be direct, this role isn’t right for everyone. It’s not for you if:

You’re an IT, software or technical delivery manager. "Delivery" here means professional services, delivered by people, to clients.

You’d rather do the work than lead the people doing it.

You’ve only worked in large corporate or government settings. We need someone who has also worked in and understands the SME environment.

You need clear direction and defined playbooks to feel confident.

You’re looking for a 12–18 month stop on the way to something else.

You avoid the difficult conversation.

You think you need deep NDIS experience to qualify. We have that expertise in the team. We need a world‑class leader.

Provider+ was founded in 2017 as the NDIS was being rolled out across Australia, changing the face of disability services.

We saw that NDIS providers needed support in all aspects of their business, so we built Provider+ to help them navigate this new landscape. We’ve since helped thousands of NDIS providers reach their goals and grow their businesses.
