About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Helpdesk Administrator to join their fully remote team. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our client support services, ensuring that all incoming requests are managed efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining the helpdesk system, tracking issues, coordinating with support agents, and generating reports on performance metrics. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a remote setting and has a keen eye for detail and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Prioritize and assign incoming support tickets to the appropriate team members.
  • Monitor helpdesk performance and generate regular reports on key metrics (e.g., response times, resolution rates).
  • Assist in developing and updating helpdesk procedures and documentation.
  • Provide first-level support for basic user inquiries and technical issues.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient resolution of escalated issues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a helpdesk or customer support environment.
  • Proficiency with helpdesk software and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
