About the Role

Our client is searching for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their fully remote support team, focusing on clients in the Vereeniging industrial corridor. In this role, you will remotely provide critical technical guidance, diagnostic support, and problem-solving for complex industrial machinery and systems. You will leverage advanced remote access tools and your deep technical knowledge to help clients maintain optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime, all from your home office. This position is ideal for a seasoned maintenance professional who excels at remote collaboration and possesses a strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and expert advice on the maintenance, repair, and operation of industrial machinery.

• Remotely diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic software and client-provided data.

• Guide on-site personnel through troubleshooting procedures, repair steps, and preventative maintenance tasks.

• Review maintenance logs and equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.

• Assist in developing and refining preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for industrial equipment.

• Document all remote support interactions, findings, and recommendations thoroughly.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or in a similar technical support role for heavy machinery.

• Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems common in industrial settings.

• Proficiency with remote diagnostic tools, industrial control systems (PLCs), and data analysis software.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues remotely.

• Strong communication and training skills to effectively guide remote personnel.

• Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.
