This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety standards. You will work remotely, collaborating with plant managers, production staff, and other engineers to implement data-driven solutions that streamline operations and reduce costs.
The ideal candidate is adept at identifying process improvements, implementing new technologies, and ensuring sustainable operational excellence in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze existing production processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement new process designs and manufacturing techniques to improve throughput and product quality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot programs for new process technologies or automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all process designs.
• Work closely with remote plant personnel to troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing operations, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of process simulation and modeling techniques.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment .
