Junior Legal Counsel (Remote/Hybrid)Leading international company is looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel on a Remote Basis with one day a week in the office required in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities will include:Commercial ContractsDraft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements including global sales contracts, tenders, supplier agreements and IP licences.Trusted legal partner to Sales, Customer Service and Procurement, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives across multiple jurisdictions.Support revenue-generating activities by structuring legally robust but business-enabling contract solutions.Data Protection & Regulatory ComplianceProvide legal advice on GDPR and data protection matters, supporting operational compliance and risk mitigation.Advise on competition law, anti-bribery and broader regulatory obligations in partnership with compliance and leadership teams.Monitor legal and regulatory developments, translating change into practical business guidance.Governance, Risk & Legal OperationsSupport corporate governance and legal entity management activities.Manage contract governance processes, including contract repositories and signing controls.Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks, improving legal documentation, reporting and internal processes.Report key legal risks and trends to senior leadership and risk stakeholders.Candidate Requirements:Qualified Solicitor (Scotland or England & Wales) with circa 3-4 years PQE.
