About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join their innovative team, operating on a fully remote basis, servicing projects in and around Centurion, Gauteng. In this critical role, you will take charge of the conceptualization and detailed design of diverse infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with remote teams across different locations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural and engineering design for complex infrastructure projects, including transportation, land development, and utilities.
• Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions, ensuring compliance with all national and international engineering standards.
• Manage design teams in a remote setting, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
• Conduct thorough design reviews, feasibility studies, and site assessments using available data and remote sensing technologies.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical specifications, and tender packages for projects.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other remote stakeholders to ensure project alignment and approvals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, with a significant portion focused on leading design projects.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) designation is mandatory.
• Demonstrated success in managing remote engineering teams and complex design processes.
• Expertise in advanced civil engineering software (e.g., Revit, BIM, advanced CAD/CAE tools) and cloud-based collaboration platforms.
