About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Civil Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, focusing on infrastructure planning and strategy. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future development projects of the company from a distance, leveraging your expertise to guide conceptualization and feasibility assessments. You will work with cross-functional teams, providing critical civil engineering insights to support strategic decision-making and project initiation, irrespective of physical location. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to influence major infrastructure initiatives globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and feasibility studies for large-scale infrastructure projects worldwide.
- Develop strategic infrastructure plans and long-term development roadmaps.
- Provide expert civil engineering guidance and technical reviews for proposed projects.
- Collaborate remotely with project managers, designers, and external consultants.
- Analyze site data, regulatory requirements, and environmental considerations for potential developments.
- Mentor and guide a remote team of civil engineers and technical specialists.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on planning and conceptual design.
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex infrastructure projects from inception.
- Expertise in infrastructure planning methodologies and project feasibility assessment.
- Proficiency with advanced simulation and modeling software .
- Excellent remote collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
