Main Purpose of the Job
As a Linguistic QA Tester, you will primarily proofread and edit content already localized into your native language, catching errors in grammar, typos, syntax, punctuation, capitalization, political incorrectness, inconsistencies, and extra spaces.
Main Duties Write and report bugs and errors using best practices through the internal database system. Understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently. Utilize native language skills and cultural awareness of the target country.
Maintain good oral and written communication and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Conduct QA on various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases. Discover and report defects (bugs) using client‑specific bug‑tracking tools.
Evaluate translations in the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation. Serve as a subject‑matter expert for linguistic issues in the target language; research and resolve linguistic questions. Adhere to project‑specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, client‑preferred checklists, and glossaries. Troubleshoot basic
