Logistics Coordinator - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage their supply chain operations remotely. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from production to the end consumer within the FMCG industry. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and liaising with transportation providers to optimize delivery schedules and minimize costs. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses to track shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements to optimize supply chain efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and provide regular reports on key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar logistics role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations within the FMCG sector.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
