Logistics Planner - Remote Operations

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce fulfillment company, is seeking an experienced Logistics Planner to join their team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing supply chain and distribution networks that serve customers across the Eastern Cape and beyond. Your expertise in route optimization, load building, and demand forecasting will be key to ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic logistics plans for efficient product distribution.
• Utilize advanced software to optimize delivery routes and minimize transit times and costs.
• Collaborate with warehouse managers and transportation providers to ensure seamless operations.
• Analyze logistics data to forecast demand, identify trends, and improve overall efficiency.
• Manage inventory flow and ensure timely replenishment of stock across distribution points.
• Coordinate with customer service teams to address any delivery-related issues or inquiries.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in logistics planning , supply chain analysis, or operations management.
• Proficiency with logistics planning software, such as route optimization tools and WMS/TMS.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
