Medical Biller (USA Healthcare) - EST Working Hours (Remote). ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is a global BPO company partnering with a U.S.-based client in the healthcare sector. We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Medical Biller with a strong background in the U.S. healthcare industry to join our remote team. To excel in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of U.S. medical billing software and a strong understanding of U.S. medical insurance policies.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies

• Ensuring each patient\'s medical information is accurate and up to date

• Preparing bills and invoices and document amounts due to medical procedures and services

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility

• Communicate with healthcare providers regarding billing practices

• Follow up on unpaid claims and denials

• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and guidelines

• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

• Maintain accurate records on customer interactions, transactions, feedback, etc

• Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issues

• Provide customer support through different communication channels (Phone, email, chat)

• Resolve issues and accommodate customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction with products or services
