You will be working on our core Rails products, as well as support of other products.

From an operational and delivery perspective, the Ruby on Rails Developer will: • Product Design / Scoping roadmap, planning, producing scope of works for each relevant software project. • You will be responsible for writing well designed, testable, efficient code. • The validation and integration of data from backend databases and services. • Create and maintain software documentation and other required content.

To be successful in this role you will have experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer within a similar company.

You will have experience across the following: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, relevant engineering field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not essential. • Ruby on Rails (including basic concepts such as MVC, OOP, etc). • Source control (Git including features such as branching). • Experience working with AWS Services and DevOps environments. • Ability to design simple layouts. • Basic documentation skills. • Accuracy, attention to detail and completes tasks (a finisher). • Self-driven with good time management and prioritisation skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to successfully collaborate with technical and non-technical staff. • Proven problem-solving ability and enjoys learning and applying new skills • Strong autonomous background and ability to self-manage time and tasks. • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
