Network Infrastructure Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) across various sites.
• Configure and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and efficiency.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security protocols, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Provide remote technical support for network-related issues and outages.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Specialist , Network Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking , routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network services (DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with network configuration and management tools.
• Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are highly valued.
