Civil Bulk Earthworks & Remote Mining Infrastructure Supervisors

Opportunities with two respected mid-tier civil contractors delivering major resources, infrastructure and bulk earthworks projects across regional and remote Australia.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with two established mid-tier civil contractors seeking experienced Civil Bulk Earthworks and Remote Mining Infrastructure Supervisors for upcoming and ongoing project work. These roles suit hands-on leaders who can drive safe production, coordinate crews and plant, and deliver high-quality civil works in demanding regional and remote environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise bulk earthworks, mine infrastructure, haul roads, pads, drainage, tailings, NPI and associated civil packages.
  • Lead crews, subcontractors and plant operators to achieve daily production targets safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate plant, labour, materials and sequencing in line with drawings, specifications and project programs.
  • Manage daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, permits, inspections, quality checks and site reporting.
  • Maintain strong safety standards across high-risk activities, remote site operations and changing ground conditions.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, clients and subcontractors to resolve site issues quickly.
  • Support cost control, productivity tracking, short-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Proven supervision experience on civil bulk earthworks, mining infrastructure, roadworks, tailings or NPI projects.
  • Strong capability managing crews, subcontractors, earthmoving fleets and high-volume production works.
  • Confident reading drawings, setting daily priorities and working closely with engineering and project teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, environmental controls and practical field leadership.
  • Experience working FIFO, DIDO or remote rosters will be highly regarded.
  • Current driver’s licence and relevant tickets, inductions or site access requirements preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, resilience and the ability to lead from the front in fast-paced project environments.
