About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Hotel Revenue Manager to optimize revenue and profitability for their properties. This is an in-office role where you will be responsible for forecasting, pricing, and inventory management strategies. You will analyze market trends, competitor performance, and historical data to implement effective revenue management tactics across various distribution channels. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the hotel industry, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth and maximize occupancy, contributing to the financial success of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic pricing and inventory management strategies to maximize room revenue.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and demand forecasting.
- Manage relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs) and other distribution partners.
- Oversee the budgeting process and financial performance of the hotel's rooms division.
- Generate regular reports on revenue performance, occupancy rates, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel revenue management or a similar analytical role.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue management systems, forecasting techniques, and pricing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel property management systems (PMS).
